NESC Dublin/Ireland

By invitation of the National Economic and Social Council (NESC) at the office of the Irish Prime Minister (Taoiseach) PUSH presented the “Vienna Model” in February 2018. The discussion among participating experts concentrated on the topic of land for affordable housing. Following the workshop a task force at NESC started work on establishing a national Land Fund based on the model of Wohnfonds Wien (Vienna Housing Fund). PUSH will continue to advice the Irish government and the City of Dublin in these matters.
