Vienna increases limits to Airbnb rental

While already in the past letting of apartments to tourists via Airbnb and similar platforms has been forbidden in subsidized housing and in s-called Wohnzonen (zones in the land use plan dedicated to housing only)renting out to tourists will now be limited to 90 days annually even in private housing in order to preserve the affordable housing stock in the city.
